As a Career Coach, clients often come to me to assist them in finding clarity in their job search. Uncertain of what career path to take, my first piece of advice is to follow your passion. Do what truly makes you happen.
I recently had a client who graduated with her degree in theatre and graphic design. After school she was unable to find work in her field, so she settled for a job in a call center working for an investment firm. She was miserable in her job and understandable so. She is a very creative person and instead of working in a field she is passionate about, she spends her day answering calls about investments. She was looking for a way out.
